Barack Obama And The Weak 2012 GOP Field
Pundits and supporters alike are claiming that the GOP filed is weak, but the truth of the matter is that there is no GOP field – just an alignment of flawed candidates.
If you take a serious look at the different GOP candidates, you will rapidly see that Obama never looked so good and so presidential.
Their flaws outweigh their qualities and they have image issues that can not be repaired even with help from prestigious PR agencies.
The truth of the matter is that even if the economy remains as it is, Obama will probably get re-elected with 52/48 percent of the popular vote. Here is why these Republican candidates will have trouble beating him.
Mitt Romney:
He is the flip-flopper-in-chief, he has changed his mind on his own health care bill, became pro-life and is now less friendly to gay rights. His business credentials are appealing but it will be hard to remove that flip-flop tag.
Jon Huntsman:
The former ambassador to China and Utah Gov. is the disloyal-in-chief. Not only he can flip-flop with great dexterity on issues like energy, he can sell the country to China and we will never known about it – just like he did to his former boss, president Obama.
Huntsman should have never worked for Obama if he wanted to be taken seriously in 2012.
Tim Pawlenty
The former governor of Minnesota, is so boring that he bores himself. Pawlenty seems to have a decent record, he could be ready for prime-time in four years.
Michele Bachmann
Bachmann is the struggling History student, who is loose on facts. Her main attribute is her personal background, this is not enough to be a viable candidate against a relatively popular incumbent.
Sarah Palin
Sarah Palin is the reader-in-chief. When the former governor of Alaska stops facebooking and tweeting all day we may start taking her seriously. Politics is not daytime TV and it is hard to erase the impressions she left in 2008.
Newt Gingrich
He is a brilliant mind that cannot be trusted. If he was an athlete, Gingrich could play for five different teams on the same day. The former speaker of the house is also incapable of answering the simplest of questions. For example: why did you owe so much money to Tiffanys?
Chris Christie
As for New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie he is not running because he knows the truth, he can not beat Obama in 2012 but there is a possibility that he will be ready for a White House run next time around.
If you get away of partisanship, and just take a crude look at the GOP field, this is what you get.
There are only two people in America who can beat Obama in 2012 and they are not running. The first one is Hillary Clinton who is working for him at the moment and it would destroy her and her husband’s legacy if she attempted to challenge the president.
The other one is retired General Colin Powell who has never ran for public office and does not seem ready to change his mind.
Despite what the media is telling you left and right the 2012 is not a tight one and unless you can convince one of these two politicians to jump in the 2012 race, your next president will be Barack Hussein Obama.
